This is a bittersweet blog as I’ve spent the last 2 days updating the website & Facebook page to reflect the new-look Seasalt & Relish, catering co. With Covid destroying the majority of the hospitality sectors’ trade this year, we too, have been hard hit. All private parties had to be cancelled and the social calendar, for a large local charity who we were to be supporting at gigs throughout the summer, decided to pull the plug on their entire events schedule, no other choice really!
Our final hope for at least one outing this summer was to have been at the 80th. Anniversary celebrations, for the Battle of Britain @The Jackdaw, Denton again, but alas, the plug was also pulled last minute.
My business partner and very close friend Fi, has been re-diagnosed with stage 4 Breast Cancer, she’s doing fantastically well, but has decided to step away from Seasalt & Relish and concentrate on her lovely husband and girls.
I’m sure you, will join me wishing her the very best with her treatment. I’m going to miss my Wing-woman tremendously!
Anyway, lets all stick to the rules, safe safe, healthy and happy and I’ll look forward to seeing you out and about hopefully, in the next year.
