Back once again!

Thank you for following my blog! It’s been a while since I updated the blog so thought I should take 5, and give you all an update on how the Seasalt & Relish family are doing!

Many many uncertainties are facing everyone in the aftermath of Covid, however with huge amounts of gratitude to our dear friends at The Jackdaw in Denton, we are finally back, firing on all cylinders and raring to go!

We’ve just completed a 4 day weekend for the May Day bank holiday, working in partnership with Graham & Michelle at The Jackdaw Inn.

In true, British Bank Holiday Style, we braved the wind and dodged the showers to serve up some tasty delights, while customer enjoyed fresh, alcoholic beverages served by the pub.

We have seen so many new faces, and had such lovely comments and feedback about our food, which really warms my soul. I absolutely love feeding people and anyone close to me would tell you, I’m a ‘feeder’ everything I do revolves around food, so the recognition from you lovely lot, fills me with pride and motivates me to continue doing what I love.

We have now got over 1200 Facebook followers, so if you haven’t yet ‘liked’ our page, pop over to Facebook and give us a like!! I try to update our whereabouts when we are not attending private events, to give those thinking about booking us for their ‘do’ can come along, see our beautiful van in all her stunning, mirrored glory and sample some of our food.

As confidence has been growing, on the prospect of a post Covid, return to normal the enquiries are soaring, so our calendar is filling up gradually!

I must also acknowledge my rock, and husband, Gary who is currently working 7 days a week, (8 in some cases!! 😂) helping me get the business off the ground again and being my sous-chef in the van!

So that’s a little update, you can find us for the next 2 weekends at The Jackdaw and we would love to feed you very soon.

Keep safe and well
